Sometimes understanding what's behind the struggle is the first step toward changing it.
In-Person in Fate/Rockwall Texas | Online Therapy Across Texas
Hi, I’m Taylor,
Sometimes the hardest part isn't knowing something is wrong; it's understanding why it keeps happening and what to do about it. Maybe you're an adult trying to work through past trauma, struggling with anxiety or mood changes, or finding that certain experiences continue to affect your relationships and everyday life. Maybe you're a parent trying to understand your child's behaviors, help them manage big emotions, or figure out why things that seem simple for other kids feel so difficult for yours.
I work with children, teens, and adults experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, mood regulation difficulties, behavioral challenges, and relationship concerns. I enjoy helping clients look beyond what's happening on the surface and work through the things that may be contributing to it.
Background & Experience
IMy background includes experience in psychiatric care, crisis intervention, individual counseling, and behavioral treatment. I've worked with individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts, emotional distress, psychiatric concerns, and behavioral challenges. This range of experience gives me a broad understanding of mental health and different ways to help clients work through challenges.
My clinical experience includes:
Supporting individuals experiencing significant emotional distress and suicidal thoughts
Working in psychiatric settings with a range of mental health concerns
Providing individual counseling to address personal, emotional, and behavioral challenges
Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and behavioral interventions to help identify patterns and develop new skills
Providing crisis intervention and support during difficult or high-stress situations
Helping clients improve emotional regulation, manage behaviors, and develop practical coping strategies

My Approach
I believe therapy should feel safe, grounding, and—when possible—hopeful. My job isn’t to fix you. It’s to walk beside you, help you make sense of your experience, and equip you with tools that really work in everyday life.
I use a combination of evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs, including:
Trauma-Informed Therapy – understanding the impact of trauma on the body and mind
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) – to shift unhelpful thought patterns
DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) – to support emotion regulation and mindfulness
CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) – especially helpful for trauma recovery
ABA (Applied Behavioral Therapy) & Behavioral Intervention Therapy - to assist with behavioral and emotional regulation
Person-Centered Therapy – grounded in empathy, respect, and deep listening
Sessions with me are collaborative and goal-focused, but also flexible. We’ll set a direction together and adjust as your needs evolve.
What to Expect
You don't have to come to your first appointment with a list of problems, a clear goal, or even the right words to explain what's going on. We'll start with a conversation about you—what life has looked like lately, what's been difficult, and what you'd like to be different. As we get to know each other, we'll figure out what to focus on and how to make our time together worthwhile.
Why Work With Me?
I want you to leave sessions with something to think about, something to practice, or a new way of looking at a situation. I also offer evening and Saturday appointments, with in-person and virtual options, to make fitting therapy into your schedule a little easier. Schedule today to start.

Why Some people prefer to Private Pay?
Many individuals seek private pay therapy for increased confidentiality, flexibility, and personalized mental health care. Unlike therapy billed through insurance, private pay or self-pay therapy allows clients to access services like trauma therapy, EMDR, anxiety treatment, ADHD support, and help with high-conflict relationships without a formal diagnosis or limitations set by insurance.
Clients can often use their HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSAto pay for therapy and may receive superbills to apply toward out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits. This approach ensures privacy, removes barriers to care, and supports customized treatment aligned with individual goals. Whether you're looking for online therapy, individual counseling, or a therapist who offers specialized care, private pay therapy offers freedom, choice, and high-quality support tailored to your needs.
Superbills provided for out-of-network insurance reimbursement. If you are unsure of how to submit OON billing, we suggest utilizing Reimbursify.com Care Credit options available.
