About Callie

Break Patterns that No Longer Serve You, Heal, & Reconnect

In-Person in Rockwall & Fate, Texas|Online Therapy Across Texas

Life doesn’t always follow a clear path. When stress, emotional overwhelm, trauma, or old patterns keep resurfacing, it can feel exhausting to navigate alone. Maybe relationships feel complicated, emotions feel harder to regulate, or you’re stuck in cycles you can’t quite break.

Therapy with me isn’t about surface-level coping or sitting silently while you talk. It’s about real connection, honest conversations, and practical support that actually helps you move forward.

I’m Callie Reyes, Licensed Professional Counselor, and I work with adults (18+) who want therapy that feels human, engaged, and grounded in real life. I offer in-person sessions in Rockwall/Fate, Texas, and virtual therapy across Texas. My style is warm, direct, and empowering—I show up as a real person in the room, not a detached observer.

Clients often tell me therapy feels more natural, collaborative, and impactful than what they’ve experienced before—because they feel genuinely seen, challenged when needed, and supported without judgment.

Background & Experience

With a background in trauma-informed care and behavioral support, I have worked across home, group, and clinical therapy settings. My experience includes providing individual clinical therapy, supporting clients through trauma recovery, working with neurodiverse populations, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, providing ABA therapy, and assisting clients in crisis and with complex psychiatric needs. My work is deeply rooted in understanding patterns, building emotional resilience, and supporting meaningful, lasting change—especially around trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I’ve also facilitated skills-based interventions to help clients manage stress and strengthen emotional and behavioral functioning.

Why Work With Me?

What sets me apart is the way I combine clinical knowledge with lived understanding. I bring a practical and relational approach that meets you where you are—whether you're burned out, grieving, navigating complex family dynamics, or feeling stuck in a cycle you can’t quite break. I help clients understand and shift emotional and behavioral patterns, improve communication and connection in relationships, feel more regulated and in control of their emotions, heal from past trauma and unresolved grief, and develop practical tools to manage daily stress, overwhelm, and executive challenges.

How I Work

Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. I use a blend of evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches tailored to your needs and goals. Interventions I use include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – For exploring thoughts, behaviors, and emotions

  • Trauma-informed interventions – To support healing at a pace that feels safe

  • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT) – For building momentum and practical next steps

  • Family systems and relational approaches – To understand dynamics and patterns

  • Mindfulness and somatic strategies – To support emotional regulation and presence

  • EMDR – For processing trauma and supporting deeper emotional healing

  • DBT-informed skills – For emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and coping strategies

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – For building psychological flexibility and aligning actions with values

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) – Processing and understanding emotions to improve relationships and self-awareness

  • Strengths-Based Therapy – Emphasizes resilience and leveraging personal strengths

Why Some people prefer to Private Pay?

Many individuals seek private pay therapy for increased confidentiality, flexibility, and personalized mental health care. Unlike therapy billed through insurance, private pay or self-pay therapy allows clients to access services like trauma therapy, EMDR, anxiety treatment, ADHD support, and help with high-conflict relationships without a formal diagnosis or limitations set by insurance.

Clients can often use their HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA to pay for therapy and may receive superbills to apply toward out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits. This approach ensures privacy, removes barriers to care, and supports customized treatment aligned with individual goals. Whether you're looking for online therapy, individual counseling, or a therapist who offers specialized care, private pay therapy offers freedom, choice, and high-quality support tailored to your needs.

Superbills provided for out-of-network insurance reimbursement. If you are unsure of how to submit OON billing, we suggest utilizing Reimbursify.com
