In-Person in Rockwall & Fate, Texas | Online Therapy Across Texas

Life doesn’t always follow a clear path. When emotional pain, relationship struggles, or past experiences keep resurfacing, it can feel overwhelming to navigate alone. Whether you're facing burnout, grief, conflict, or just a sense that you're not where you want to be—change is possible.

I'm Kaylee, and I help adults and couples untangle old patterns, improve communication, and build stronger emotional foundations. I provide in-person sessions in Rockwall and Fate, TX, as well as virtual therapy throughout Texas. My approach is supportive, practical, and grounded in real-life experience. Clients often tell me they feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaningful progress—without judgment.

Background & Experience

With a background in mental health, hospice and medical social work, and trauma-informed care, I’ve supported individuals and families through some of life’s most complex challenges. My work is deeply rooted in understanding family systems, emotional resilience, and the impact of unresolved experiences—especially grief, trauma, and substance use.

My professional experience includes:

  • Working with adults and families through end-of-life care, grief, and anticipatory loss

  • Supporting clients in hospice settings with both emotional and systemic family dynamics

  • Helping individuals process trauma and long-standing emotional wounds

  • Addressing mood disorders, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation

  • Guiding couples through relational conflict and communication breakdowns

  • Providing tools for executive functioning challenges, including ADHD

  • Supporting recovery and harm reduction for those impacted by substance use

  • Helping clients set boundaries, manage stress, and strengthen self-worth

This work, combined with my deep respect for people’s lived experience, allows me to show up fully—with care, clarity, and curiosity—to help you move forward.

Why Work With Me?

What sets me apart is the way I combine clinical knowledge with lived understanding. I bring a practical and relational approach that meets you where you are—whether you're burned out, grieving, navigating complex family dynamics, or feeling stuck in a cycle you can’t quite break.

  • Understand and shift emotional and behavioral patterns

  • Improve how you communicate and connect in relationships

  • Feel more regulated and in control of your emotions

  • Heal from past trauma and process unresolved grief

How I Work

Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. I use a blend of evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches tailored to your needs and goals. These include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – For exploring thoughts, behaviors, and emotions

  • Trauma-informed interventions – To support healing at a pace that feels safe

  • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT) – For building momentum and practical next steps

  • Family systems and relational approaches – To understand dynamics and patterns

  • Mindfulness and somatic strategies – To support emotional regulation and presence

Our work together is not just about insight—it’s about action, healing, and meaningful progress.

Why Some people prefer to Private Pay?

Many individuals seek private pay therapy for increased confidentiality, flexibility, and personalized mental health care. Unlike therapy billed through insurance, private pay or self-pay therapy allows clients to access services like trauma therapy, EMDR, anxiety treatment, ADHD support, and help with high-conflict relationships without a formal diagnosis or limitations set by insurance.

Clients can often use their HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA to pay for therapy and may receive superbills to apply toward out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits. This approach ensures privacy, removes barriers to care, and supports customized treatment aligned with individual goals. Whether you're looking for online therapy, individual counseling, or a therapist who offers specialized care, private pay therapy offers freedom, choice, and high-quality support tailored to your needs.

Superbills provided for out-of-network insurance reimbursement. If you are unsure of how to submit OON billing, we suggest utilizing Reimbursify.com
